does rakuten allow employees to work from out of Japan? my company doesn't, I'm curious

There are tax implications so most companies do not allow work from overseas more than a certain amount of days per year.

Never seen such people simultaneously living abroad and working for Japanese companies as “permanent”. All of those did those styles were just either in home countries temporarily in name of family matter for a few month or as contract employee. I think tax/law restrictions prohibits companies from hiring permanent employees living in foreign counties. Of course except for cases where companies have offices abroad and hire there.
