How to Catch Up on English in a Fun Way

One way that I learned Japanese was through interacting with Japanese locals relentlessly, but being mindful to observe each person’s speech habits and quirks. This means going to meetups, participating in shared hobbies (volleyball for me), getting a personal trainer for a short period, going to language exchange events, going to random snack bars run by families who have worked there for 40+ years, HelloTalk, etc.

I think we can improve on our own time for reading, but for listening and speaking, it requires deliberate practice over a long period.
